Kari and Mike

It's been a wonderful start to the wedding season! Kari and Mike's wedding was so much fun to photograph. We knew some of the people in the wedding party, so that always brings a level of comfort to the day for all of us right away.  When Kari got there, she said that she hadn't cried... yet. The photo below was maybe 20 minutes later ;) I don't know the whole story, but Kari had a necklace that she'd lost, and Mike bought her a new one as a wedding gift. Her cousin put it on for her, so she didn't see it until she looked in the mirror at herself for the first time.

Despite the semi-gloomy weather, we got outside for several photographs. Kari's cousin (personal attendant) was fabulous and made sure to put down a sheet under her dress and that 2-3 bridesmaids were helping her carry it around at all times.

Lynde and Tyler

Lynde and Tyler's wedding was SO much fun! Several of the people in the wedding party were people who we've photographed at other past weddings, so we had a lot of fun reconnections throughout the day. They were also so laid back but at the same time, incredibly happy!! It felt like we were friends, along for the celebration. It was a great way to kick off the (from here on out, nonstop) wedding season!
